Unshaven Fans... tis time to wake up! Yes indeed. Marc here, with an update on the production blog.

Last we spoke, Disposable Razors #1 was done, and printed. If you came out to C2E2 to meet us, then maybe you scored a copy! If you still haven't... well, nertz to you! Just kidding. If you still want a copy, well, come out to Stand-Up Comics in Lansing, Illinois... and buy a copy. They have a few left. And so do we.

But Marc, you ask, what about issue #2? We're hard at work on it. 12 pages are fully colored and ready to go-go-go. 12 more pages to finalize for Ironside, and then the next chapter of "The White" to come. And as a bonus? We may just include a special secret story few of you know about. What is it? It's funny. It's violent. It's by Kyle. We'll let you know about it in the coming weeks.

So, as we get back into our groove, the plan is simple: We'll be attending the upcoming Wizard World Convention as fans this year. No need for a table. If you see us on the floor, DO stop us and take pictures, and pretend we're famous though. We're totally into that.

1. First, thanks to everyone who came to our monthly (Comic) Book Club meeting, in which we discussed the excellent Boys vol. 1 at a slightly more adult venue (tho kids still came in at the end, of course -- who knew families went to eat at Benchwarmers?) Next month I think we'll be back to our regular Baker's Square routine, and the book will be Mike Carey and Peter Gross' Unwritten, vol. 1. This book is special for two reasons: 1) it's my choice so you better all like it and 2) it's the cheapest book we've had at book club yet -- only $9.99! This is thanks to Vertigo's "introductory-priced trades" program. Even if you can't attend the meeting, I highly recommend this book. Hope to see you there!

2. Thanks to our awesome friend and customer Kyle Gnepper, the dollar book section at the front of the store is now TOTALLY ALPHABETICAL. That means you can easily browse our dollar boxes (five and growing!) for specific issues easily. You can't beat that deal. Also, fill up a short box with dollar books for only $75... that's over a $150 savings off retail price!
