Ooops, sorry. I forgot a few letters there. Let's try that again. I am underwhelmed by Siege #1. I was really excited for Marvel's new event series, too. If you read my 2009 wrap-up blog, you know that Brian Michael Bendis is one of my favorite superhero writers, and Dark Avengers one of my favorite books. How, then, could Siege not be good? And yet here is evidence to the contrary staring... |

I was busy today. After an excellent discussion of Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1 today at Book Club, I went back to work on the site. This new feature, appropriately, is Book Club comments. This works just like blog comments. The only difference is that you can't leave a comment until after the Book Club meeting has started. We wouldn't want anyone ruining anything for anyone, now would we? |

In the recent years DC comics has gone on and on several times about their 'Big Three'. Those three being Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. These three are touted as the cornerstones of the DC. There was even a recent weekly series (Trinity by Kurt Busiek) covering how absolutely essential they are to the fabric of the DC universe. The problem is that I just don't buy it.
