1. This month's (Comic) Book Club offering is Oni Press' Scott Pilgrim vol. 1: "Precious Little Life." This is a great chance to check out one of the hottest indie comics of the past few years and to get ready for the 2010 movie adaptation starring Michael Cera, and for about $10!

2. I mentioned this last week -- Friday, December 18 is the annual Stand-Up Comics Holiday Sale and Party! This one will be a little different than years past. Here's the details
