1. It's the "most wonderful time of the year" again, and with that
comes changes in store hours and when you get new comics! Here's a
rundown of what's going on the next couple weeks--

Wednesday, December 23: NEW COMICS, 12-8 (usual Wednesday)
Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve): open 12-7 (usual Thursday
hours)
Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day): CLOSED!
Saturday, December 26-Tuesday, December 29: regular hours
Wednesday, December 30: New Years Eve Eve/SKIP WEEK! (see below)
open 12-8 (usual Wednesday hours)
Thursday, December 31 (New Years Eve): open 12-4
Friday, January 1 (New Years Day): CLOSED!
Saturday, January 2-Tuesday, January 5: regular hours
Wednesday, January 6: NEW COMIC DAY, regular shipments resume

2. So what's this about a skip week? Well, on Wednesday December 30,
we won't be receiving our regular weekly shipment of comics--no stores
will! However, we WILL be putting a couple must-own items on sale that
day, including DC Comics' BLACKEST NIGHT #6 and Marvel's NEW YEARS EVE
EVE PROMO CALENDAR, the ORIGINS OF SIEGE one-shot, and the FALL OF
HULKS ALPHA NEW YEARS EVE EVE ED MCGUINNESS variant. Several of the
Marvel products are FREE and are obtainable ONLY on New Years Eve
Eve... so you'll probably want to treat December 30 as New Comic Day
all the same! You may only have four new books to pick up, but trust
us, it's worth coming in for them! Watch next week's email for more
info on this stuff.
