1. This Sunday, April 25 at 4:00 we'll be meeting at the Lansing Baker's Square to discuss our (Comic) Book Club selection of the month, CC Colbert and Tanitoc's historical graphic novel Booth. If you don't have your copy yet, grab one at the store today. See you there!

2. Speaking of cool events -- this year's Free Comic Book Day is less than TWO WEEKS AWAY! It falls on Saturday, May 1 and, as usual, not only will we have hundreds of free comics to give away, but we'll also be running sales throughout the store, and we'll have some local talent on hand to make the day all the more exciting. Our friends in Unshaven Comics will be back doing sketches, entertaining the wee ones (of course), and -- most importantly -- selling their brand new book that debuted last weekend at C2E2. Exciting! Check next week's newsletter for way more info on the coolest day of the year!

3. Finally, as many of you know this past weekend was the inaugural C2E2 convention in Chicago, as well as the Diamond Comics retailer summit. As usual with those things, we've come back with a wall full of variants that aren't available anywhere else!
