Free Comic Book Day 2010 TOMORROW!
Tomorrow's the big day! Your favorite comic shop and mine will, for the fifth year in a row, be participating in Free Comic Book Day! That name tells you the most important part about what we're doing tomorrow -- giving you free stuff! The comics companies have picked about 30 books to hand out absolutely free of charge. But oh, there is much more than free giveaways at the shop tomorrow. How about --
SALES: Almost EVERYTHING in the store will be 10% OFF! In addition, we'll have an assortment of awesome $5 ACTION FIGURES marked down from $15-20. What a savings!
SIGNINGS: Local creators Unshaven Comics will be in the shop all day selling and signing copies of their brand new book Disposable Razors #1, which was previously only available at C2E2. They'll also be taking sketch requests -- kids love it!
FREE COMICS: Okay, it was worth repeating again.
To help y'all out, we'll be extending our hours tomorrow -- the store will open two hours early at 10 AM and stay that way until the usual 6 PM close. Get there early! ... and, a word to the wise, if you come in the afternoon park on the side streets, due to the Lansing Good Neighbor Day Parade (starts at 2).
