1. Due to yesterday's national holiday, this week's comic shipments will be pushed back one day, to Thursday, June 3. To accommodate this change our Wednesday and Thursday hours will swap, so Wednesday we'll be open noon-7 and Thursday noon-8. See you Thursday for the new stuff!

2. Our stand-up comedy showcase Stand-Up @ Stand-Up has now switched to become a monthly show; we'll now be hosting the best in Chicago stand-up comedy on the first Tuesday of every month, which happens to be TONIGHT. So if you're looking for something to do, come check out six amazing stand-up comedians for only five dollars. 3. Speaking of good shows -- my actor friend Kevin Reader has put together an excellent performance in Chicago that I think many of you would be interested in seeing. It's a sketch show called The Nerdologues (taking after that other, more famous and more adult "Monologues" show) and features seven Chicagoans talking about what it means to them to be a nerd. Most of it is funny, some of it is touching, and all of it is interesting. Of course comics come up, as do video games, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, HP Lovecraft... and the list goes on. It's a fantastically good time and I highly recommend it.

The Nerdologues will be running every Saturday in June at Joone Studios, 1327 N Ashland in Chicago. The shows start at 9:00 and admission is $10, BUT -- since we have a special relationship with the producers of the show (they even use our comics as props!) you can get in for $2 less if you mention that you heard about their show through us.
