1. I hope everyone had a fun and safe four day weekend -- I know I did! Due to the holiday, comic shipments will be delayed until Thursday this week. Because of that our Wednesday and Thursday hours will swap, so Wednesday we'll be open 12-7 and Thursday 12-8. Sorry for any inconvenience!

2. Among lots of other great new releases, this Thursday brings us X-Men #1 -- Marvel's biggest mutant book in decades! Much like with the Avengers #1 launch several months ago, we'll have a ton of rare variants to this comic, including some only available to stores participating in the X-Men #1 launch party (like us!), and these are all first come, first serve. So make sure you stop in Thursday to pick up your exclusive X-Men #1 merch!

3. Subscribers: here's some good news for most and less-good news for a few others -- space is getting kind of tight in our pull files so for the first time in a couple years we're modifying our subscription policies. Here's a quick run-down of the changes:

- First: our base discount is now 10% for all subscribers (this is where most subscribers sit now).

- Second: if you pick up your entire pull box when you come in, you get a 5% bonus, for a total of 15%. Previously you had to get a lot of titles to reach this level -- now it doesn't matter how many you buy, as long as you empty out your file!

- Third: we request that all subscribers come in monthly and pick up at least half their file each month.

- Fourth: you have the option of prepaying for your entire monthly order by filling out a Previews order form every month; this gets you 20% off your total order!
